Module 2 of the Young Academy Styria
Conversation, discussion and debate
From 22 to 23 November 2025, the second module of the Young Academy Styria took place in Semriach.
The main topic of the seminar weekend was the basics of conversation, discussion and debate. Participants practised communicating empathetically with each other, arguing and counter-arguing objectively, discussing in a solution-oriented manner and debating constructively.
On the second day of the seminar, the young participants were able to apply the theoretical content they had previously learned in practical rhetorical exercises and talks.
The programme also included discussions with BR President and State Training Officer Peter Samt, LR Stefan Hermann and State Parliament President Gerald Deutschmann.
In addition to the content learned, the exchange among themselves and with the guests of honour was particularly well received.
