Launch of the Women’s Academy in 2026

A confident manner in a political context

The first module of the Women’s Academy 2026 took place on 13 and 14 March 2026 in Vienna and focused on the fundamentals of successful political communication. The programme centred on key aspects of political rhetoric, including the development of concise core messages, the structured composition of political speeches, and the targeted use of voice, language and personal presence. In addition, topics such as authenticity in communication, dealing with nervousness and stage fright, and the importance of how others perceive us and how we perceive ourselves were addressed. Through practical exercises and joint reflection, the participants were given the opportunity to further develop their communication skills and lay the groundwork for a convincing presence in a political context.

With the Women’s Academy, the Freedom Party’s Educational Institute has launched a training programme to promote political communication skills among committed women. The aim of the course is to prepare participants specifically for political roles and to equip them with the necessary skills to communicate messages clearly, present their arguments confidently and perform convincingly in political debates. The Academy combines theoretical principles with practical exercises and places particular emphasis on strategic communication, rhetorical skills and a reflective approach to the media. The course is modular in structure and is aimed at women who wish to play an active role in political processes and take on leadership responsibilities.
